A weaned child in its mother’s arms

Content, still and at peace.

Secure in trust, asleep in humble surrender.

Cradled in love.

I have much to learn from this child

Dear God, help me to be thankful

to be content, to quiet my soul

to rest in your peace

to trust, to surrender

and humbly receive your love.
