What a miracle relationship is!
It demands all of us - whether we can give it or not
It surprises us with joy and pain at times
Its intent is to allow us to be all we can be with one who believes in us, one who is our greatest fan, one who sees all we can become.
How often we fail at this relationship thing!
How often we attack those closest to us
How often do we close our heart in disappointment and anger.
But to love, and to be someone's 'beloved' is worth far more than gold or silver.
To let another into the deep, secret places of our heart and know we are still loved is a longing unspoken.
What a miracle relationship is!
One must fight for it.
One must feed it with love, grace, time and care or it will eventually die.
Let us be open to love.
Let us be courageous in being real and allowing others into our heart.

Let us not take it for granted.

What divine wonder that we were created for relationship and love.
A love born of God and finds its true home there.
