Vision

Who will join me in hope?

Who will be a seeker of truth, of a brighter future?

Who will fight the overwhelming gloom and doom of the news, globalisation, and tragic events to still maintain hope that we can make a difference?

Vision

It looks past what is seen to what can be

It wraps up hope, dreams and potential in a ball and kicks goals with it.

It does not need to be grand, but requires risk and a giving of ourselves for others.

Vision

It must be grounded in truth

It is watered by divine wonder and revelation of greater things than what is present or seen.

It can be triggered by tragedy or a simple wish.

It does not work well if driven by fear, anger or powerlessness.

Vision

Who will join me in hope?

Who will believe that one person can make a difference and with others can change the world?

Vision does not require heros, but common everyday people like you and me.

Without vision a nation perishes.

How we are lacking it now and how we need it.

God has a vision - not only for us, but for this world - and it is for good.
